Whether you heat with oil, electric, gas, wood or pellets, if you are a town resident and cannot afford heat, please apply for assistance.

Then, do one of the following:

1. Mail your completed application to: Hearts for Heat, 13 Old Farm Road, Spencer, MA, or
2. Call Sharon at 508-885-9454 to set up an appointment. You'll meet at the Town Hall with a representative from the Spencer Chapter of Hearts for Heat, or (for your convenience), or
3. Drop off the application and attend a private and confidential interview at the Spencer Library on Thursday’s from 11 am to 2 pm.

If you're meeting with us, it would be helpful if you would fill out the application form and bring it with you. Also, please bring any documentation you have received from any other fuel assistance program.
